These terms govern your use of Penny & Pick (this website), operated by MadGrey LLC. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Questions go to contact@pennyandpick.com.

What the content is

Everything on this site is editorial opinion and general consumer information, published for the purpose of helping you decide what to buy. It is research-led: we read product specifications against price, read owner-reported reliability, and compare products against the tiers above and below them. The full method is on how we pick.

We do not operate a test lab and we do not claim to have personally used every product discussed. Nothing on this site should be read as a measurement, a test result, or a guarantee of how a product will perform for you.

Content is provided on an as-is basis. Specifications change, products are discontinued, firmware is abandoned and prices move constantly. We correct what we find and date every page, but we cannot warrant that any particular detail is accurate at the moment you read it. Always check the current product page before buying.

What the content is not

This site does not provide professional advice of any kind. Nothing here is medical, health, legal, financial, tax or engineering advice, and none of it is a substitute for a qualified professional.

In particular: fitness and grooming products discussed here are consumer goods, not medical devices. A wearable that reports heart rate, sleep or recovery is a consumer estimate and not a diagnostic instrument, and no reading from one should be used to make a health decision. Consult a qualified professional for anything concerning your health.

Where a product category carries a genuine safety dimension - electrical appliances, load-bearing equipment, anything with a motor - follow the manufacturer's own instructions and safety warnings. Those take precedence over anything written here.

Purchases are with the retailer, not with us

We sell nothing. This site carries no store, no checkout and no cart. When you click a product link you are sent to a third-party retailer - most commonly Amazon - and any purchase you make is a contract between you and that retailer, under their terms and conditions.

That means the retailer, not us, is responsible for pricing, taxes, stock, payment processing, shipping, delivery, warranty, returns and refunds. We have no access to your order and genuinely cannot look it up, change it, cancel it or refund it. For anything to do with an order you placed, contact the retailer you bought from.

We also do not control retailer pricing or availability, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell at any price.

Affiliate relationships

This site earns affiliate commission on qualifying purchases made through its links, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Intellectual property

The text, page structure, scoring approach, design and code of this site are owned by MadGrey LLC and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own personal use, and to quote a short passage with a visible credit and a link back to the page it came from.

You may not republish our content in bulk, scrape the site to train a model for commercial resale of substantially the same content, or present our work as your own. Automated bulk crawling that degrades site performance is not permitted.

Product names, brand names and logos mentioned on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners. Mentioning a brand does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from that brand - and no brand covered here has any editorial involvement in what we publish.

Photographs on this site are either openly licensed or licensed for commercial use; the image credits page lists every one with its source and license.

Governing law and severability

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the publisher is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
